Our History
Abrusley Ashy Group is a dynamic, multifaceted organization that traces its roots back to 1983, when founders Wedad Abrusley and her husband, Edward Abrusley, launched Oasis Foods Service. Originally from Syria, Wedad immigrated to the United States as a teenager and later settled in Louisiana, where she and her husband built the foundations of what would become a diverse business enterprise, beginning in wholesale food service. Following Edward’s passing in 2015, Wedad continued to lead Oasis Foods with the support of her children, extended family, and a dedicated team.

Today, Abrusley Ashy Group is helmed by Shadi Abrusley and his wife, Nour Shadid Abrusley. Leveraging Shadi’s deep expertise in food wholesale distribution, the company has grown substantially since 2006, expanding into a wide range of industries.
